Eat-More Granola bars - it's a good chew!

Carmel Base Granola stuff (Your preferences)

1 cup butter

Cereals (Something soft)

2 cups

2¼ cup Brown Sugar

Puffed rice

 

1 cup Corn Syrup

Puffed wheat

 

1 can Eagle Condensed Milk

Corn flakes

 

1 tsp. Vanilla

Seeds

1 cup

 

Sesame

 

 

Sunflower

 

 

Flax

 

 

Anise

 

 

Nuts

1 cup

 

Peanuts

 

 

Almonds

 

 

Pecans

 

 

Pine

 

 

Filberts

 

 

Coconut

 

 

Grains

1 cup

 

Oats

 

 

Cracked wheat

 

 

Cracked barley

 

 

Wheat Germ

 

(Need a candy thermometer)  

Measure out granola and place in large bowl, set aside.

In a pot large enough to eventually fit all ingredients:

  1. Melt butter and add one at a time the next 3 ingredients.
  2. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until 245˚F.
  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  4. Pour in granola and stir thoroughly.
  5. Pour into buttered 14x18 pan and pat down smooth – about 1/2in thick.
  6. Ready to eat when cooled. Just cut into bar sized shapes.
